2011 Legislative Session

During the 2011 Legislative Session, Central Oregon Landwatch successfully led a critical effort to protect citizen access to our land use system, led the fight to stop several special entitlement bills that would have enriched one developer at the cost of our communities, worked to protect the groundwater of the Deschutes Basin, achieved protections for the Wilderness Areas, and stopped a proposal that would have allowed local governments to weaken land use protections.
