Description: Applicants request a text amendment to the Deschutes County Code to allow "event venue" as a conditional use in the MUA zone. Events would be defined as wedding, family reunion, class reunion, company picnic and similar gatherings; up to two events per day and with a maximum of three events per week; and up to 300 persons per event. Events would be restricted to MUA-zoned properties adjacent to an arterial-classified road, excluding those properties adjacent to Exclusive Farm Use and Forest Use zoned lands.
