Description: District Ranger Phil Cruz signed a Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on April 11, 2008, approving a modified Alternative 3 of the Meissner Sno-Park and Nordic Trails Project. The selected alternative authorizes the following activities: increasing parking capacity, adding 7.8 miles of new trails, increasing the number of trails that are groomed, providing additional ungroomed trails, construction of a shelter up to 1,370 square feet, providing a staging area, adding a double vault toilet, and installation of a kiosk. This decision is subject to appeal. Only individuals/organizations that commented during the 45-day comment period may appeal this decision.
