Join LandWatch on our third fall Springs walk in a series of three to explore Alder Springs and the confluence of Whychus Creek & Middle Deschutes River. We will experience the area’s fascinating hydrology and discuss the importance of healthy Springs while engaging in a restorative walk which will include guided reflection on our connection to the natural environment.

Each walk in the series will take 5-6 hours total, including round trip driving time from Bend and around 3-4 miles of trail walking.
- Difficulty: Difficult! Steep trail down and then back up the canyon of the Middle Deschutes
- Suggested equipment: comfortable hiking shoes, trekking poles, sack lunch, plenty of water, binoculars, and field guides.
