City Council Directs Urban Renewal in Bend Central District+ 🎉!

URBAN RENEWAL IN THE BCD THANKS TO YOUR SUPPORT!
At their meeting on April 18th, 2018, the Bend City Council agreed to initiate an urban renewal area in the BCD + KorPine and other adjacent opportunity areas! Thank you to everyone who weighed in to support this decision - it truly made a difference for the future of Bend.

This is huge news and a big step toward the BCD's transformation into a healthy, vibrant, and resilient mixed use neighborhood with safe connections between east and west Bend. To learn more about why a broad coalition supports using urban renewal as a tool, click here.
