Thank Central Oregon representatives for good bills for wildlife and wild lands

Now that Oregon’s 2026 Legislative Session has come to a close, it’s time to thank legislators for the bills you’re bill you’re excited about.

The draft letter below thanks the Central Oregon representatives who advanced and voted in support of two key measures:

• The “1.25% for Wildlife” bill, which funds essential wildlife conservation efforts

• The “Public Lands Promise” bill, which bars state and local governments from cooperating with the federal government if it tries to sell off public land in Oregon.

Together, House Bill 4134 and Sentate Bill 1590 reflect the thoughtful stewardship and forward-looking leadership that helps Oregon remain prosperous and a special place to live.
