Year-End Matching Campaign TRIPLES Your Impact on Central Oregon

Are you up for the challenge?

A long-time friend of LandWatch has offered us a powerful opportunity: raise $50,000 by the end of the year and it will be TRIPLED. This means that every dollar you give becomes three for LandWatch. This is a lot of money to raise in a short amount of time, but we know LandWatch supporters are always up for a challenge.

This unique opportunity comes at a pivotal time for our region, and that's no accident. Oregon saw a wildfire season that decimated communities in Western Oregon and billowed oppressive smoke onto Central Oregon. While fire is a natural part of Central Oregon’s ponderosa pine forest ecology, it does not have to wreak havoc on our communities.

Oregon’s land use system offers perhaps the most affordable and proactive approach to protecting our community from wildfires. For more than 35 years, LandWatch has sought enforcement of state and local law when development would put our homes, firefighters, and communities at risk.

As the watchdog of Oregon’s land use system in Central Oregon, we have our work cut out for us to ensure future development does not occur in notoriously fire-prone areas. LandWatch is up for this challenge. We know how important it is for the future of our community.

Your gift today keeps our community safe from wildfire, and right now it will be TRIPLED. Reducing the risk of catastrophic loss due to wildfire has always been core to our mission. Please take this opportunity to make it part of yours.
