Take the community survey for Skyline Forest

Skyline Forest makes up the forested foothills of the Cascade Range: James Parsons

What is your vision for Skyline Forest?

Since we launched the Save Skyline Forest campaign website last month, we’ve been floored by the amount of interest and support. It’s clear – our community is ready to protect this area for water quality, wildlife habitat, and the outdoor access that is paramount to the wellbeing of our communities.

Here is what you can do right now to take this effort to the next level. Take the community survey to help guide the vision for Skyline Forest’s future.

What comes next?

The Deschutes Land Trust (DLT) is hosting this survey to dive deeper into the community’s vision for Skyline. Like Central Oregon LandWatch, the Deschutes Land Trust has been working to conserve this forest for a long time. Our collaborative efforts are one of the key reasons Skyline Forest is still an intact and incredible community treasure.

The survey results will be shared between our organizations, and with community partners and elected officials, to help chart a clear course for Skyline Forest’s future conservation and management.

The path ahead will be filled with opportunities like this one to help shape a brighter, safer, healthier future for this forest. Want to stay involved? We’ll reach out as opportunities arise so you can make an impact where it matters.
